PROGRAM OUTLINE
PRACTICAL FUNDAMENTALS 70 hours
During the Practical Principles training, the first two weeks will be spent in the classroom participating in demonstrations, completing haircuts on mannequins, working with all types of hair including naturally textured hair, and participating in workshops on live models
On campus Schedule
Monday to Friday
BARBER PRACTICUM 140 HOURS
Trainees will spend the remaining four weeks training in an authentic barbershop setting, performing fades, tapered haircuts, long layered haircuts, beard trims, and hot shaves on live models with all types of hair. Live models are provided by Canada School of Barbering.
Participants must be at least 18 years of age, and either a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
On campus Schedule
Monday to Friday
Day Time – 10:00 am to 5:00 pm
Evening – 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm*
*Evening classes are only available at the Edmonton Campus
