FADE FUNDAMENTALS WORKSHOP

This one day workshop focuses on the art of fading and tapers. Techniques using the clipper and detail trimmers creating low, medium and High bald fades. This workshop is designed for barbers or hairstylists who like to hone their clipper skills. Your own tools are required for this class, Canada School of Barbering offers Barber tool bags which include high quality clippers and trimmers for purchase. Students must be a registered apprentice or a Journeyman Hairstylist.

  • I have never cut hair, can I take this course?

    You must currently be cutting hair as a Barber or Hairstylist in a shop environment in order to enroll. 

  • I do not have any experience fading, can I take this course?

    Yes this course is suitable for you so long as you have 1 year or more experience in cutting men’s hair with clippers.

  • What tools do I need to Bring with me?

    You will need to bring the following tools: Clippers, Trimmers, #1 and #2 Cutting Guards, Shears, Texturizing Shears, Spray Bottle, Blow Dryer, Brushes, Combs and Cutting Cape.


    Clipper upgrades are available 

  • What time are class hours?

    Class hours are from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm. Its best to arrive 15 minutes early for you to get settled before class starts.

  • What models are required?

    Two models required at 11:30 am and 1:30 pm 

  • What type of payment methods do you accept?

    We offer PayPal and Credit Card payments at the moment. Once you complete your registration you'll be able to pay a deposit and the remaining balance will be due 2 weeks before the start date.

  • When do I get my certificate?

    Upon completion of the Fade Fundamentals Workshop you will receive your Certificate.
