Simone has over fourteen years of experience as an instructor and more than twenty-seven years of experience in the industry! She has also been an Educator at CSB since its inception.

Meet our Educator, Chad!

Chad graduated from Vidal Sassoon Academy and continued his professional development throughout his 7+ years in the hair industry by taking classes with internationally recognized artists.

During this time, not only did he grow as a hair professional, but he also found fulfilment in teaching his peers, helping others grow, and watching them succeed. His passion for teaching and mentorship led him to be an educator at Canada School Of Barbering!

 Meet our Educator, JP!

JP graduated from Nuwave School of Hair Design and developed his professional skillset throughout his 20 years in the hair industry!

During his career, he not only managed a hair salon but also found fulfilment in teaching others as part of the Redken Canadian Education Team, where he travelled to different salons to train other hair professionals.

His goal is to have a strong impact on others and their learning ability, which has brought him to Canada's leading barber school!

When you decide to enrol at our school or contact us for info, you'll be dealing with our friendly Admissions Advisor, Dion!

Although Dion is in an administrative role, she is no stranger to hair. She has hair salon experience, a cosmetology diploma and is also a CSB Alumnae herself!

Executive Director

Meet our Founder and Executive Director, Moe Sweiss.

His path in the hair industry started back in 2004 when he became a Barber. He went into the trade with the vision that he would become a business owner.

Moe attended a local hair college, and his instructor was none other than our very own Head Educator, Simone.

It was at that moment that he realized two things. First, he liked Simone as an instructor, and secondly, men's hair was underserved and lacked the specialization it deserved!

In 2009, he approached Simone with the idea of starting CSB and having her as the Head Educator. After years of hard work and persistence, Moe was able to get Barbering recognized by the Alberta Government as an official trade and CSB became Canada's Largest Barber School.

Other notable achievements include starting Mr. Barber, a Barber Franchise with 15 locations across Edmonton, Leduc, Spruce Grove, and Sherwood Park.
