STRAIGHT RAZOR SHAVE WORKSHOP



The one day workshop will cover the classic 14 specific stroke facial areas being shaved. The difference in razor positions and stroke, infection control and safe shave practice. This workshop is designed for barbers or hairstylist with little or no experience in straight razor shaves. Students must be a registered apprentice or a Journeyman Hairstylist. A shaving kit is included.

  • How much experience is required for the Straight Razor Shave workshop?

    You do not need to have any experience for this workshop.

  • Do I need to bring anything for the workshop?

    A full shave kit is provided and yours to keep after the workshop. Please bring Clippers, Trimmers, and Cutting Cape.

  • What time are class hours?

    Class hours are from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm. Its best to arrive 15 minutes early for you to get settled before class starts.

  • What models are required?

    One Facial Shave Model at 1:30 pm. Models must agree to remove all facial hair including mustache.

  • What type of payment methods do you accept?

    We offer PayPal and Credit Card payments at the moment. Once you complete your registration you'll be able to pay a deposit and the remaining balance will be due 2 weeks before the start date.

    Upon completion of the Straight Razor Shave Workshop you will receive your Certificate.

  • Can you recommend any hotels?

    If seeking short term accommodation then please consider the Days Inn at $99 per night which is near the Academy.
