Canada School of Barbering offers The Masters in Barbering Semester One, designed for individuals who are keen to learn the fundamental and latest skills in barbering while requiring the flexibility of tuition payments and class schedules.
The first semester of the program focuses on mastering techniques for precision shear cuts, clipper cuts, fades, beard trims, and hot shaves. Additionally, students will be introduced to basic concepts and fundamentals that are crucial to the barbering industry. The program has a hybrid structure, with the theoretical principles and fundamentals being taught online, and the Barber Practicum and hands-on training being conducted on-campus.
The program is specifically designed for students with little to no experience in barbering, enabling them to develop a strong foundation of knowledge and practical skills to excel in their training. The Online Theory Fundamentals consists of online video presentations,
digital modules, and web books using PivotPoint LAB.
These highly in-depth resources give our students the fundamentals they require to understand the theoretical portion of barbering to successfully complete
their exams and set their foundation before coming to campus.
During your first day, there will be a one-hour Zoom meeting with your instructor guiding you through the PivotPoint LAB online platform and what you can
expect during your online training.
To ensure students stay on track and receive guidance from their instructor, weekly half-hour Zoom meetings are scheduled throughout the program. These meetings provide students with the opportunity to ask questions, clarify their understanding, and receive personalized feedback to enhance their learning experience.
Three weeks completed off-campus.
During your Practical Fundamental Training, you will spend your first two weeks on-campus in the classroom participating in demonstrations, completing haircuts on mannequins, working with all types of hair including naturally textured hair, and participating in workshops on live models.
These two weeks in the classroom will set the foundation for your practical skills to prepare you for the hands-on Barber Practicum.
